This update brings a new history timeline in the counselling case and a revised toolbar for the case form: the buttons in the sub-lists are back where the data is displayed. Document upload via drag’n’drop works again on the whole form, and the online appointment interfaces of the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Schaffhausen have been extended.

This page also contains the changes from patch versions 3.24.1 and 3.24.2, as well as some adjustments from version 3.24.0 that were still missing from the 3.24 page (each marked with “from 3.24.0” (“aus 3.24.0”)).

New features

History timeline in the counselling case

The counselling case now has a timeline available: it shows appointments, notes, invoices, reports and documents chronologically in one panel. The order can be switched between “Newest first” (“Neuste zuerst”) and “Oldest first” (“Älteste zuerst”). The timeline is available in all case forms (standard, CMBB BL and TG, mentoring ZH and BL).

The timeline is hidden by default. Every user can enable it in the user settings with “Show history timeline” (“Verlauf-Timeline anzeigen”). With “Show history lists” (“Verlauf-Listen anzeigen”), the previous lists in the lower part of the case can additionally be hidden. (#31472)

Case form: buttons in the sub-lists are back, more compact toolbar

With version 3.23, the creation functions were combined in the “New” (“Neu”) menu, and the buttons in the sub-lists were hidden. Based on feedback, the buttons in the sub-lists (e.g. New, Case protocol, Book workshop) are shown again: you can create entries directly where they are displayed again. The “New” menu remains available.

So that the toolbar does not become too wide, the buttons Close, Reopen, Pending tasks, Assign mentor, Meta info, Admin tools and Hand over now only appear as icons; the label appears as a tooltip. The pending tasks button shows the icon and the number of pending tasks. The “More” (“Mehr”) menu is discontinued. (#32618)

Other new features

  • Document upload via drag’n’drop: files can be dragged onto the entire case, person or institution form again. It is no longer necessary to first open the tab with the documents. (#32617)
  • Document upload in the case: choose target: when uploading in the counselling case, you now choose in a dialog whether the file is stored on the case or on the person. The default selection is set via the new parameter default_target_document_upload_bf (CMBB BL: person). (#32473)

Upload: assignment case/person

  • Documents: “Received on” (“Erhalten am”) date: for documents in the case, the date on which the document was received can now be recorded. The date is also shown in the document list. (#32410)
  • Search forms: search selection fields by typing: selection fields in the search forms can now also be searched by typing the initial letters, not only via the dropdown list (including person, institution, appointment, invoice, collective invoice, workshop planning, case search, daily and monthly statistics, event, school consultation hour).   • Set default appointment duration system-wide: the new parameter default_zeit_dauer_ueberschreibbar can be used to disable the personal setting for the default duration of appointments. The system-wide default duration then applies to all users. (#32622)
  • New case: “Service for first appointment” (“Leistung zum Ersttermin”) section can be hidden: the section can be hidden when opening a new case via the new parameter hideLeistungsWahlErsttermin (CMBB BL: hidden). (#31066)
  • Appointment cancellation with appointment email: if an appointment is cancelled, the customer now receives the appointment email (provided the parameter mit_termin_email is active). (#32521)
  • Workshop exports with maximum number of participants: the CSV export, PDF reservation list and French PDF export now also show the maximum number of participants. (#32027)
  • Personal details: confirmation prompt on closing (from 3.24.0): if the personal details are edited from the case and the window is closed with unsaved changes, a confirmation prompt now appears. (#32093)
  • RAV additional data can be hidden (from 3.24.0): the RAV additional data (assignment, implementing unit) can be hidden via the new parameter mit_rav_zusatzdaten (GE: hidden). (#32128)
  • ZH (baiz): new “Education Check” (“Bildungs-Check”) report: records the topics covered, the recommended next steps and remarks. (#32412)
  • ZH (baiz): final report for potential assessment integration pre-apprenticeship revised: the form and template were revised (including a new “Starting situation” (“Ausgangslage”) field). The revised report is added as a new template; the previous template remains available. (#32407)
  • AMM certificate (BL, baiz): duplicate report: reports can now be copied via “Duplicate” (“Duplizieren”). The month-related fields (e.g. attendance month, attendance/absence, travel expenses) start empty; recipient, decision no., measure from/to and venue are retained. In addition, “Was the AMM cancelled?” (“Wurde die AMM abgebrochen?”) is now ticked “no” by default in the PDF, and the field “Unemployment insurance fund” (“Arbeitslosenkasse”) shows the short name of the institution. The field “Print date” (“Druckdatum”) and the checkbox “Trigger info SMS” (“Info-SMS auslösen”) were removed, as they had no effect. (#32515)
  • CMBB BL: case protocol extended: the case protocol now also outputs tags, phases, involved persons, the creator and last editor of appointments, as well as the cancellation reason for cancelled appointments. (#32472, #32408)
  • CMBB BL: case sheet with protocol entries: from page 2 onwards, the case sheet now also outputs the protocol entries. (#32249)
  • BS online appointments: the import was adjusted to the new form. The preferred time (time slot, counselling format, comment) is now transferred to “Further remarks” (“Weitere Bemerkungen”). (#32596, #32633)
  • SH online appointments: “Found out through” (“Erfahren durch”) pre-filled: for cases opened via the import inbox, the field “Found out through” is now automatically pre-filled (e.g. “Direct registration” (“Direktanmeldung”)). The window for the person matching now adjusts its size to the screen. (#31370)

Other minor adjustments

  • Tags in the case: newest at the top: the tags in the case are now sorted by date in descending order. (#32409)
  • Tag card with tag group: the tag card in the counselling case now shows the tag group before the tag title. (#32471)
  • Involved persons: new columns: the list of involved persons now includes the columns “Addition” (“Zusatz”) and “Gender” (“Geschlecht”). (#32471)
  • Appointment rescheduling in the case log (from 3.24.0): rescheduling an appointment is recorded in the case log (“From: …, To: …” / “Von: …, Bis: …”). (#32329)
  • Case search: French translations: the search fields of the case search are now also translated into French. (#32624)
  • Services: module-dependent product type selection: the selection no longer depends on the parameter mit_kostenpflicht, but only on mit_modul_module and leistung_auswahl_modulabhaengig.
  • Geneva: “Créer un suivi”: the label “Ouvrir un suivi” is now called “Créer un suivi”. (#32505)
  • TG: “viamia Check” report: the completion notes are no longer printed in the PDF.
  • CMBB BL: “KBSB-Export” and “Viamia” reports removed: the two reports are no longer available. (#32253)

Technical changes

This section is primarily intended for administrators and IT: please note these points during the update.

  • New parameters: default_target_document_upload_bf, default_zeit_dauer_ueberschreibbar, hideLeistungsWahlErsttermin and (from 3.24.0) mit_rav_zusatzdaten. The parameters are created with default values during the update; please check the values in Admin > Parameters.
  • Import inbox API: field additional_info removed: the responses of the import inbox interfaces no longer include the internal field additional_info. (#31370)
  • SH online appointments: “Found out through” configuration: the value for “Found out through” is configured via the value_map (context api_ktsh, key beratung_erfahren_durch_id). Without an entry, the field remains empty. See the manual, chapter SH online appointments, for details. (#31370)
  • BS online appointments: new form schema: the school level is mapped via the value_map (context api_ktbs, key schul_stufe_id); the ID category is taken over directly via the BISO ID. See the manual, chapter BS online appointments, for details. (#32596)

Bug fixes

  • #32624: in the case search, search fields could be added multiple times. This led to ignored filters, empty results or errors. Saved lists are loaded correctly again.
  • #32479: the teacher entered as free text was not shown in the case list.
  • #32627: in various appointment lists and forms, the columns for start, date and duration were too narrow.
  • #32553: when creating an appointment protocol, the protocol template (text module) was not applied.
  • #32408: in the online/HTML case protocol, the label “Age at start” (“Alter bei Beginn”) was not output correctly.
  • #32563: for events, the appointment list was not updated after closing the appointment window.
  • #32631: Bern - appointment invitations generated an empty second page.
  • #32636: the scheduler (Crunz) could not find its configuration when the command line was started from a different directory.
  • #32585: simple person form - window size and tab height corrected; the remarks field now fills the whole tab, and the personal details tab scrolls on small screens.
  • #32579: the SMS templates migrated from the parameters had no group; as a result, they could not be saved.
  • #32521: sending the appointment email caused an error if no email address was on file for the counsellor.
  • #32515: AMM certificate - a replaced PDF document on the case caused a technical error.
  • #31943: in the calendar popup, the month/year selection was displayed incompletely at certain browser zoom levels (e.g. 67%, 133%).
  • #32175 (from 3.24.0): the SMS sending date was reset when saving an appointment.
  • Free-text SMS from the case and person form: an incorrect text module type was used.
  • Institution form: the sub-lists (employees, faculties, documents) are correctly filtered on the institution again.
  • TG: incorrectly named templates of the “BSLB Erstintegration” and “BSLB Erstintegration Analyse” reports corrected.
  • BS: size of the logos in the PDF templates corrected.
